In a release sent to the teams this morning the league announced details of senior league realignments for 2013. The plans show a larger Premiership than in 2012 with two conferences of eleven teams. The larger size is an attempt by the league to remove the travel problems faced this year as each side faces eachother just once a year.
At the lower levels, division's one and two will be merged into one, renamed the 'National division'. There will be a new 'Development division' with details on this to follow in nearer the start of the season.
Here are the Premier divisions post-realignment:
East Kilbride Pirates
West Coast Trojans
East Kent Mavericks
South Wales Warriors
National division teams to follow.
